Change Management

Change or die. This is the challenge many of us face as heads of our respective business organizations. For some, change involves the different technologies the organization needs to be competitive; for others, new organization structures that are needed to be effective or reduced levels of overhead needed to be profitable.

The Lachlan Group deals primarily with "people" change management issues; e.g., Finance organizations that have come to realize their Finance people must change from business analysts (controllers) to Finance Business Partners (business advocates) and Human Resource organizations that are being changed from administration process centers to Strategic Business Partners who successfully and profitably manage the human assets of the organization. Although each of these scenarios presents a unique set of circumstances, challenges and opportunities, the creation of a Competency Model is frequently required to set the direction of the Change Management Process.

We have enjoyed great success in working with organizations on these types of "people" change management issues and in creating Competency Models that provide the necessary direction for change.
